Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in EMR systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians during emergency situations
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Perform diagnostic tests and specimen collections
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Train and mentor new night shift team members
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN or LPN license (required)
- 1+ years acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
- Pass background check and drug screening
