Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight hours, including vitals monitoring and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor proceduresMaintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations overnight
- Handle emergency situations calmly and following protocols
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment for next-day procedures
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficient in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
