Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign assessments during overnight hours
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation accurately
- Administer medications and injections per physician orders
- Coordinate patient care across departments during night shift
- Respond to patient inquiries and emergency situations
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification or CMA/RMA
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid Colorado driver's license (for potential on-call duties)
- Background check and drug screen required
