Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight hours including vitals assessment and medication administration
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams as needed
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for next-day operations
- Assist in managing patient flow and triage during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant Certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision overnight
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
