Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments under provider supervision
- Perform vital sign monitoring and basic laboratory tests
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide overnight care coordination
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient handoffs
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
