Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines, assembly lines, and automated equipment during night shift hours
- Perform quality control checks using precision measuring tools and calipers
- Maintain detailed production logs and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain 5S workplace organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks
- Train on new machinery processes as technology evolves
- Assist in preventative maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing or industrial experience
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work 10-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 4:30 AM)
- Basic math skills for quality calculations and inventory management
- Valid driver's license for equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
