Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with mobility transfers and personal hygiene tasks
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care continuity
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
