Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage server racks and power distribution units (PDUs) during night hours.
- Perform routine hardware inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
- Execute tier 1 and tier 2 hardware troubleshooting and network diagnostics.
- Document all maintenance activities, incidents, and system changes in the CMDB.
- Respond to alerts and alarms in a 24/7 NOC environment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Assist in cabling infrastructure upgrades and cable management initiatives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data center or network operations environment.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Strong physical stamina required (ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
