Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Ensure sterile environment and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency with EHR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
