Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs measurements and patient intake procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to multiple Charlotte locations
