Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests under supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient communications
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and sanitized per OSHA standards
- Process insurance claims and manage billing documentation
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends
