Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage phone triage
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient privacy
- High school diploma or equivalent required
