Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient observations and care progress accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky LPN license required
- 1+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
