We are seeking a visionary Lead Systems Architect to spearhead the technological backbone for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and oversee the implementation of a robust, scalable IT infrastructure for stadium operations and fan zones.
- Security & Compliance: Develop comprehensive security protocols to protect sensitive data, financial transactions, and network integrity against cyber threats.
- Vendor Management: Lead the selection, integration, and management of third-party technology partners and hardware vendors.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless connectivity between ticketing systems, broadcasting equipment, and on-site Wi-Fi networks.
- Disaster Recovery: Create and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime during critical match events.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into actionable business solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 5 years in large-scale event management or government infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices architecture, and big data processing tools.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or similar enterprise architecture certifications are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and the capacity to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Licensure: Ability to pass a thorough background check and security clearance.
