Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize disruptive innovations
- Produce scenario analyses and risk assessments for 2026 market transformations
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of future-focused initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry panels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of delivering actionable future scenarios to Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major foresight initiatives implemented with measurable impact
- Experience managing remote global teams and diverse stakeholder ecosystems
