Responsibilities
- Define the high-level architecture and technical strategy for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead a cross-functional team of machine learning engineers and data scientists to drive innovation and execution.
- Oversee the design and implementation of large-scale distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Conduct deep technical reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, quantum computing, and advanced algorithms to keep Project 2026 at the cutting edge.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on AI or Machine Learning.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and large language model (LLM) architecture.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable systems from conception to production.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a pioneering research environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
