Responsibilities
- Architect novel deep learning frameworks for multimodal AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing ethical AI governance protocols
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier AI conferences
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into production-ready solutions
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NIH/NSF partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers through quarterly workshops and 1:1 sessions
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in publishing at NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed ML infrastructure
- Strong background in reinforcement learning and generative models
- Experience leading projects with 10+ AI researchers
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research funding
- Fluency in Python, C++, and cloud-native deployment (AWS/GCP)
