The Role:
We are seeking a strategic thinker who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for the future. You will lead the architectural design of our core machine learning platforms, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and ready for the demands of the next decade.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the end-to-end technical strategy for AI infrastructure development.
- Design and implement scalable deep learning pipelines using state-of-the-art frameworks.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Oversee the deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs) in production environments.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers.
- Ensure ethical AI practices and data governance standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define the long-term technical vision for AI systems, specifically focusing on advancements relevant to 2026.
- Architecture Design: Create resilient, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling massive data throughput.
- Team Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence within the engineering team.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating emerging technologies like quantum computing integration or neuromorphic chips.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select external AI tools and partnerships to enhance our internal capabilities.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in Machine Learning/AI leadership.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Proven experience designing systems for high availability and low latency.
- Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
