Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in ICU setting
- Monitor and interpret patient vitals, lab results, and diagnostic data
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in EHR systems
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU/critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
