Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal impacts
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation priorities
- Author white papers on ethical AI governance and sustainable tech adoption
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout and evaluate breakthrough startups
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos)
- Mentor R&D teams on futuristic implementation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, D3.js)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio of 2026+ technology roadmaps or impact assessments
