Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive market shifts and technological convergence
- Translate future insights into actionable roadmaps for R&D and product development teams
- Present strategic foresight to executive stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to build predictive models for technology adoption
- Champion ethical technology principles in future strategy development
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or strategy publications
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 environments
