Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) and translate insights into 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Architect cross-functional innovation labs prototyping solutions for 2026 market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate-resilient infrastructure and decentralized systems
- Partner with R&D to integrate generative AI and spatial computing into core product development
- Present foresight briefings to executive leadership and key investors quarterly
- Establish ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and neuro-interfacing technologies
- Lead global think tank collaborations with MIT Media Lab and World Economic Forum
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with portfolio of executed 2020+ vision projects
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or IEEE Spectrum
- Proficiency in futures simulation tools (STELLA, AnyLogic) and trend analysis platforms
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on tech disruption preparedness
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scenarios into executable business plans
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent
