Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biocomputing) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with engineering and product teams
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board via executive briefings
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurists, VCs, and academic partners
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Mentor junior innovation strategists in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 10+ years experience in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Published work on emerging tech trends (IEEE, MIT Technology Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Experience with quantum computing principles and neural interfaces
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executive narratives
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight preferred
