About the Role:
As our Futurist Strategist, you'll lead horizon-scanning initiatives, identify disruptive trends, and develop adaptive frameworks that empower businesses to thrive in 2026 and beyond. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies, translating complex futures into strategic blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for 3-5 year strategic horizons using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Design executive-level futures reports and strategic briefings for C-suite decision-makers
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into organizational planning cycles
- Create innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Establish KPI frameworks for future-readiness maturity assessment
- Represent Horizon Forward Labs at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) strongly preferred
