Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-10 year technological foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and strategic risks
- Produce executive-ready innovation roadmaps with quantified impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks for early signal detection
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of anticipating technological disruptions (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and systems modeling
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Publication record in futures research or technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Experience working with global teams across time zones and cultural contexts
