Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify 2026 market disruptors across tech, policy, and consumer behavior
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives in AI governance and ethical deployment
- Lead cross-functional workshops mapping exponential technology adoption curves
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for enterprise transformation
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and World Economic Forum on emerging technology protocols
- Design innovation sprints for clients to prototype 2026-ready business models
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal transformation
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, and horizon scanning
- Deep expertise in at least two domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with Fortune 100 stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning deliverables
- Strong command of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
