Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, socio-political shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, biotech, and climate adaptation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Quantify long-term risks/rewards using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Maintain proprietary foresight database with 200+ trend indicators
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into executable strategies
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 on 10-year transformation roadmaps
