Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce quarterly Future State reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Design and validate innovation pipelines aligned with long-term market evolution
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing products and services
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and media engagements
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in technology trend analysis (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP, and causal layered analysis
- Executive-level presentation and storytelling abilities
- Published research in futures or innovation journals
- Experience building innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting 2026+ landscapes
