Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and trend forecasts using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Design innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and emerging market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product development and strategy
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Communicate future insights through compelling executive briefings, reports, and presentations
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems to identify disruptive threats and transformative opportunities
- Mentor teams in future-thinking frameworks and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing and implementing innovation frameworks in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep understanding of sociotechnical systems and global megatrends
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and academic circles
