Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable innovations
- Present futuristic scenarios to executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation scouts
- Quantify market opportunities and risks associated with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neurotech
- Exceptional skills in scenario planning, data visualization, and complex systems modeling
- Published thought leadership in recognized futurist journals or platforms
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and communicating complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
