Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product development cycles
- Produce trend reports and strategic briefs for internal and external stakeholders
- Establish and maintain global networks of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across organizational functions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in innovation strategy, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
