What You'll Do: Lead horizon scanning across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology; develop 5-year innovation roadmaps; collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions; present strategic insights to C-suite stakeholders; and establish thought leadership in emerging tech ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product concepts
- Analyze emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, neurotech) for competitive advantage
- Present future-focused briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership content on technology evolution and societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into narratives
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism (white papers, books, keynotes)
