- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop data-driven innovation roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness for 2026 adoption curves
- Author thought leadership publications on technological disruption and future-proofing methodologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, innovation hubs, and future-focused organizations
- Present future trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record developing future-focused strategies implemented in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycle analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio published thought leadership or strategic foresight projects required
