Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 5-10 year industry transformations
- Develop comprehensive innovation frameworks and strategic roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product/service concepts
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor communities
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future trends
- Drive culture of innovation within organization through training and mentorship
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of launching innovation initiatives generating $10M+ revenue
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
