Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year horizon foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops with C-suite executives to identify disruptive innovation vectors
- Produce strategic whitepapers and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, climate solutions)
- Represent company at global innovation summits and policy forums
- Mentor internal 'futures thinking' certification program
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' industry intelligence reports
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published author or keynote speaker on future trends (Singularity, AI alignment, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully commercialized future-oriented initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on transformational strategy
