Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market positioning
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks that inform R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Present compelling future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against strategic foresight benchmarks
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to accelerate trend forecasting
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFAP, CSSP) required
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech convergence points
