Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and market shifts to forecast impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026+ business initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused innovation priorities
- Produce executive-level reports and presentations synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, industry panels, and predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
