Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 2026-2030 market landscapes
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D teams to translate future insights into R&D priorities
- Author whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies and their societal impacts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product roadmaps and corporate strategy cycles
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in rapidly evolving regulatory environments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future trends
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic transformation
