Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data from 200+ emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and Stanford d.school partners
- Author quarterly trend reports featured in Wired, MIT Technology Review, and Harvard Business Review
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate disruption risks
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in corporate innovation strategy or foresight consulting
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (provide portfolio)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and ESG frameworks for 2026 compliance
- Experience with AI-driven trend analysis platforms (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-proofing initiatives
