Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities and risks through 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into innovation initiatives and product development
- Build and maintain a network of industry experts, academics, and futurists for trend validation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and influence R&D investment priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and internal trend reports
- Mentor junior strategists and foster future-focused thinking across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or R&D with proven trend-impact analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario-planning and strategic modeling capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
