Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ strategic innovation roadmap integrating emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating futuristic insights into scalable product and service innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital transformation domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion innovation culture through workshops, hackathons, and internal thought leadership initiatives
- Monitor KPIs for innovation pipeline success and ROI of futuristic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals preferred
