Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives for future market disruptions and technological shifts
- Build and manage an elite innovation lab focusing on quantum computing and neurotech applications
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into development lifecycles
- Present future-proof strategies to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
- Mentor next-generation futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of anticipatory thinking
- Publish thought leadership on emerging paradigms and their business implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation with proven 2020+ trend forecasting success
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and systemic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio of implemented future-proof strategies generating >$50M revenue impact
- Deep technical fluency in AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology domains
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable narratives
- Experience scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Futures School) required
