Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps incorporating quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate-induced technology disruptions
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ technology trends
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of scaling technology ventures from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or neurotech
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech organizations
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- MBA or equivalent from top-tier institution with focus on innovation management
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools for complex systems modeling
