Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives for 2026
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields including generative AI, autonomous systems, and sustainable tech
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes to identify first-mover opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to translate strategic vision into actionable development plans
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and lead a team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption and ROI of strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotechnology domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
