Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology roadmap aligning with 2026 industry disruption targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify $1B+ market opportunities and competitive threats
- Partner with C-suite to integrate strategic tech initiatives into corporate growth plans
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid experimentation and scalable deployment
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry standards for 2026
- Mentor talent in emerging domains and build an innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE, Nature, or top-tier innovation journals
- Experience securing $50M+ in tech innovation funding
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
