Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a network of academic, industry, and government innovation partners
- Drive R&D investments in emerging domains like neuro-interfaces and autonomous systems
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management expertise
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
