Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and carbon-neutral tech infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and UX designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Quantify ROI for emerging technology investments through predictive modeling
- Champion responsible innovation principles across all technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for complex systems
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, or blockchain
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Studies, Technology Foresight, or equivalent strategic planning
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology impact assessment
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
