Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-gen solutions for industry verticals
- Analyze emerging tech disruptors (Web3, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members securing $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI tracking across 15+ innovation projects
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor a 10-person innovation lab comprising PhD researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or CTO-equivalent leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps with $100M+ implementations
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum systems, or synthetic biology
- Published research or patents in futuristic technologies (IEEE/ACM publications preferred)
- Experience securing government grants and private funding for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
