Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 innovation targets
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concepts and pilot programs
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor groups
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and ROI of future-tech initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Anticipate regulatory implications and ethical considerations for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech trends into business strategy
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, Computer Science, Engineering) preferred
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy)
