Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to ideate disruptive solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a network of industry pioneers and academic partners
- Monitor competitor technology portfolios and identify first-mover advantages
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or Business with 7+ years relevant experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Strong network connections within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
